Many songwriting workshops often end up being song feedback. You get a professionals opinions on if they deem your song as good or not, a few things they like about it and some details on things that could be better. I would know… I’ve taken a few over my years in the industry! And I usually felt pretty disappointed in the vague opinions I would be left with. Often the opinions would greatly vary from one songwriting class to the next! I began to develop a songwriting workshop that allows people to not only learn techniques and new elements to be building with on all their songs, but also actually get some good work done on your music!

In my songwriting workshop, you bring a song or two to the table and we workshop them in your private one on one session with me. We will work with YOUR original ideas (AKA we wouldn’t be re-writing your base ideas… we’ll build WITH them!) to make sure the song has great structure, timing, smooth transitions between sections, inspect the layers (harmonies, ad libs etc.), and overall flow that will keep people engaged from beginning to end!

More often than not, aspiring songwriters have good melodies to work with, but the magic of a song that keeps listeners engaged and having the flair that makes it feel like a professional composition gets brought out in the details!

Treating Vocal Damage

Our vocal expert has a unique education in vocal pedagogy. She was trained by experts at UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Greensboro vocal center where she was methodically taught how to care for injured vocal cords and how to get them back to health, correct and healthy speaking habits, eliminating body tensions and other bad habits that cause unseen issues, and even has a background in nutrition to identify dietary things that could be adding to the problem.
